Cameron York is a California native who received her Bachelors of Fine Art with distinction, emphasis in Printmaking, from Sonoma State University in 2015. From there she was awarded the Iowa Arts Fellowship and began working towards her Master’s of Fine Arts with a concentration in Printmaking and a secondary emphasis in Sculpture, at the University of Iowa. She graduated with a Master’s of Art and a Master’s of Fine Art in 2018.

Cameron has spent time as a printshop assistant at Bay Park Press in San Diego, CA, and at the University of Iowa. She was a Master Printer at the Lasansky Gallery and Corp. As an Instructor of Record at the University of Iowa she taught both printmaking and drawing classes. In 2017 she was an Artist in Residence at the Vermont Studio Center, and in 2018 she was an Artist in Residence at Cow House Studios in Wexford, Ireland

Cameron has shown all over the country including the 36th Bradley International Print and Drawing Exhibition, The Contemporary Print in Austin, Texas, and the National Printmaking Exhibition, at The Wichita Center for the Arts in Wichita, Kansas.
